[Week 4] Reflection Inquiry Project October 2nd, 2026
This week I officially started my Inquiry Project and was able to experience one on one cooking lessons from my mother. On the culinary front, I started off by preparing three delicious and nutritious dinner dishes that included Curry Chicken, chili, and fresh tacos. Unfortunately, this past week I came down with a bad flu which has now resulted in a bad cold, and I eventually ended up going home. Despite me being sick I made myself a goal of preparing only 3 dinner dishes for the week as the rest were then made by my parents as I was home. I made a list of what the meals were going to be and then drafted up a grocery list and headed to the store.
Despite being sick and it becoming a bit of a challenge, there was a brightside and I was able to gather valuable cooking lessons from my mother that will help me go a long way in my Inquiry project. This past week definitely reminded me that health isn’t just about sticking to a workout schedule or planning meals, but rather it is about knowing when to slow down and take care of yourself. Moving into next week I plan to carry all these lessons forward and listen to my body as it tries to regain my energy and health back.
